"I used Moms, Maids, and More for my wedding in 2007, and my sister is using them for her upcoming wedding. Their prices are reasonable and I'm touched that Erin, the owner, remembered my mom and sister from their visits three years earlier."
- Melinda Hoover, married on July 21, 2007, at University Presbyterian Church; reception at Salty's on Alki.

Choosing the right dresses for the bridal party can seem like an act of telepathy: A bride can imagine the perfect strappy, merlot tea-length dress, but each bridesmaid might have their own idea about what dress looks best on them and it may or may not have straps or end below the knee. Mothers of the bride might have already spent so much energy helping the bride find her dress that they’re too overwhelmed to think about their own gown. For these reasons (and more), Erin Green decided to put the needs of the bridal party front-and-center at her Bellevue-based bridal boutique, Moms, Maids, and More. She’s been pairing the bride’s supporting cast with great gowns and accessories since 2004, and here she offers her expertise on finding the best dress for every girl and how to have the best time finding it—no mind reading required. Five years ago Erin Green, owner of Bellevue-based Moms, Maids, and More, realized how difficult it is to find beautiful clothing for the other women in the wedding party. Frustrated with the lack of options, she opened her own boutique specializing in pampering everyone but the bride. "You see the relief on their faces," Green says of the mothers who walk into her store. "We have such a wide range of apparel for different ages and tastes." When it comes to little girls, Moms, Maids and More has adorable designs from Little Lady, WaWa, Tip Top and Sweet Beginnings. With shoes and accessories to complete every look, there is no doubt that moms, bridesmaids, flower girls and, yes, even brides, can find something to make them feel special. |

For many mothers, a wedding is not only one of the most important days of her daughter's life but one of the most important in her own life as well. Erin Green, owner of Moms, Maids, and More in Bellevue, believes moms should look the part and get the acknowledgement they deserve. Having dressed mothers of the bride from ages 35 to 85 for four years now, Green knows to stock her boutique with styles for every generation, color preference and body shape, earning her boutique the award for best mother-of-the-bride apparel. And when it comes to the little girls at the wedding, Green says they all have one thing in common: "They all twirl," she laughs. Moms, Maids, and More also takes this year's Best Flower Girl Dresses award for the second year in a row, thanks to its stock of pretty choices for little angels from brands such as Little Lady, Sweet Beginnings and Tip Top. Green acknowledges that she truly enjoys this particular part of her job. "The wedding is the day for these little girls to be a princess," she says. "most moms tell me they have to hide the dress from their daughters until the big day because they want to be in it every second." |

The flower girl can be as picky as the bride. Just ask Erin Green, who started Moms, Maids, and More three years ago. She says the little girls who want to be princesses will try on and twirl in every dress twice. Others will kick and scream and embarrass their mothers. "We think it's adorable either way," Green promises. Each dress in the Bellevue-based store--whether for flower girls, bridesmaids or the mother of the bride--is available in at least five, if not 45, different colors. That's perfect for the flower girl who wants to match the bridesmaids, if not be the bride herself. |

Erin Green noticed that mothers of the bride--and mothers of the groom--
had a difficult time finding dresses at traditional bridal shops. To meet moms' needs, she opened Moms, Maids, and More in Bellevue last year, stocking
dresses for moms and bridesmaids in all styles and colors. Green's point of pride? Carrying "fun, sassy styles that make the moms feel pretty."
